HUAWEI HONOR 7 REVIEW

Huawei launched its upper midrange android smartphone namely Honor 7 in India which is priced @ 22,999. It is available is Grey & Silver shades.

DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY
The design of this phone is good. It has corning glass 3 on front and an aluminium unibody back and feels great in hands. It is slim at 8.5mm and weighs 157gms. It has 5.2 inch Full HD IPS-NEO LCD display of resolution 1920 x 1280 with 424ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility of the display is Excellent. It runs on Emotion 3.1 User Interface. The display supports 10 multi-touch points and the brightness of the screen is great.

STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES
It has 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable upto 128GB. The device features dedicated multimedia apps like google play music for songs and a stock gallery and a video player which are good. FM radio comes pre-installed too. Connectivities like 2G, 3G speeds upto 42.2mbps download & upto 5.76mbps upload, 4G speeds upto 150mbps download & upto 50mbps upload, Wifi a/b/g/n/ac, Wifi Dual Band, Wifi hotspot, USB 2.0, USB OTG as well as Bluetooth 4.1 LE (Low Energy) but also has NFC & IR blaster. It also has Fingerprint scanner support and also supports gyroscope sensor.  

CAMERA & VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES
It has a 20MP rear camera (1/2.4 inch sensor) with Phase detection autofocus and Dual LED (Dual tone) flash which features Simultaneous image and video recording, Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Image stabilization, HDR etc. The camera clarity is Great overall. Daytime the images are great and has fine details respectively but in the night is where the noise starts to become more visible and to get better details at night HDR mode images with bit of steady hands helps to produce slightly better images still image quality at night is pretty good could have been bit better. It does1080p@30fps HDR, & 720p@120fps video recording with video stabilization and stereo sound having bit-rate of 17mbps for Full HD respectively and stores in mp4 format. The video recording clarity is Great overall. Daytime the video clarity is Excellent and has fine details respectively but at night video clarity is pretty good could have been bit better. It also has a 8MP front camera with LED flash for selfe's which does 1080p video recording and clarity is quite very good.

SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, PERFORMANCE & BENCHMARKS
It runs Android (OS) 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It has a Qualcomm HiSilicon Kirin 935 64-Bit SOC (System On Chip) running an Octa-Core processor which is a combination of a Quad-Core processor clocked at 2.2 GHZ (Cortex-A53 architecture) & a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.5 GHZ (Cortex-A53 architecture) with 3GB RAM and Mali-T628 MP4 (Quad-Core) GPU. The performance is Excellent which provides number of graphic intensive games and multitasking run very well and there is no lag at all.
